Broken Clown would occasionally make cassettes or CD-Rs of their recordings to hand out at shows. They'd include whatever songs they had been working on at the time... they might be demos, radio performances, or studio tracks. This collection is in the spirit of those hand outs.

Some of these songs were never performed live and some of them are simply the only recording we have of a well-loved song.

Track 5 is from the "Racket" cable access TV show and appeared on Angry Rodent Records Summer Compilation (2000).

Track 6 Produced by B.J. Murphy at the Bitter End in Portland, ME (1998).

Track 7 from the "Mad Dog" demo cassette (1997).

Tracks 11-12 from WMPG's "Local Motives" recorded live by Phil Hersey (2000).

Track 13 is a rough mix outtake from Houses Of The Homely (2001) recorded by John Wyman at Big Sound Studios in Westbrook, ME.

Broken Clown was a metal band from Portland, Maine that played a lot of shows together from 1996-2002. They released an EP during their time and finally finished a full length album in 2016, 15 years after it was started.
